Plans to Link Nine Elms & Pimlico

With the creation of new homes, jobs, leisure facilities and shops in Nine Elms & around Battersea Power Station, plans to provide a much needed, safe and sustainable access route for all Londoners is a much welcomed proposition, put forward by Wandsworth Council.

These plans now recommended are for the bridge to be located between Grosvenor Road Riverbank on the north side of the Thames at Pimlico and on the south side of the river on Kirtling Street, near Battersea Power Station.

Designed for pedestrians and cyclists this will aide and improve conditions for the number of Londoners and commuters using these methods of active travel to move around this part of the city.

With plans for an elegant design, the new bridge is set to deliver what will be a new landmark for London and will enhance the local areas for businesses, local residents and visitors alike.
