Ultimate guide to Battersea

Battersea has one of the most iconic landmarks in the UK, the Battersea Power Station. The Grade II listed building was built in 1929 to produce electricity for London. It has now been transformed to the most visited place in London since its reopening in 2022, nearly 40 years after its closure. From amazing the Michelin Star restaurants to boutique shops, this place has everything you need including its superb views of the river and Battersea itself. A beautiful distraction from everyday working life, we find ourselves constantly being drawn to its magical ambiance.

Surrounding the Power Station are great restaurants and café’s – a stone’s throw away from Penhurst House, our business centre based in Battersea. Our top three local cafés are the Brazil Café (amazing Brazilian lunches full of flavour), Kapihan at 547 Battersea Park Road which do the most amazing coffee and of course a must dine-in Boqueria (for some exotic tapas). If you’re looking for a cheeky pint, you have lots of fabulous pubs nearby.

Last but not least, Battersea Park, a great get-away for a lunch break or to walk the dog! The tranquil scenery and beautiful surroundings this park have so much to offer, from cute cafés and even a boating lake where you can try out your rowing skills. Battersea Park is a great escape after a busy day at work or for a stroll in the evening. What more do you need near a business centre? Battersea has great scenery, an amazing atmosphere and great food!
